Job description
With the help of our highly specialist physiotherapy team, students at National Star follow personalised programmes to help them maintain their physical health so they can live as independently as possible and prepare for life after college.
We are looking to recruit a junior physiotherapist to join our friendly team to continue this vital work, working full time, term time only.
Our specialist college for more than 100 residential and day students with complex disabilities aged 16 – 25 years old, has a national reputation for delivering therapeutic programmes that meet the needs of learners with both acute and chronic presentation.
Led by a physiotherapist with a passion for treating people with acquired brain injuries and neuro-disabilities, the 36+ strong physiotherapy team are all motivated by the progress made by students as they follow a range of specialist programmes tailored to meet their needs. The is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified junior physiotherapist to develop their skills in a caring and nurturing team.
Our facilities are second to none and include an aquatic therapy pool, rebound therapy room, indoor and outdoor accessible fitness areas and a modern physiotherapy suite.
We have 1 role available – which will require you to work primarily from our main site in Ullenwood on the outskirts of Cheltenham, but may also require the flexibility to cover other sites according to the need of our students.
