Occupational Therapist - Specialist SEND Provision (Term Time Only)

Location: Bristol (BS35 area)
34,100 - 40,500 actual salary (FTE 39,700 - 47,100) depending on experience
40 hours per week Term Time Only

We are partnering with a high-quality specialist education provider to recruit a Senior/Specialist Occupational Therapist for a therapeutic provision supporting children and young people aged 7-19 with Autism and associated social/communication needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated multi-disciplinary team in a nurturing environment where staff are passionate about delivering personalised support and helping each student realise their potential.

The Opportunity

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Lead on clinical assessment and intervention planning.
  • Manage a caseload of students with complex needs (Autism, sensory processing, attachment difficulties).
  • Deliver therapy aligned with EHCP outcomes through direct sessions, training, and resource development.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and embed OT across the whole provision.
  • Provide expert guidance to staff and support the integration of therapy strategies into daily practice.
  • Maintain high clinical and professional standards in line with HCPC/RCOT requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy & HCPC registration
  • Experience working with children or young adults with Autism, ADHD and/or SEMH needs
  • Ability to work independently in a specialist educational setting
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for improving outcomes for young people
  • Commitment to ongoing CPD
