Formed in 2011, STEMworks is a not for profit company based in Gloucestershire that works with schools, businesses, teachers and other organisations promoting STEM skills. We are currently looking for a Part Time Workshop Presenter to deliver our Primary school workshops.
● Salary: in the region of £28,000.00 (full time equivalent) dependent on experience.
● Part time temporary contract – initially one year with the hope to extend.
● Two days a week. Possibility of 3 days per week at busy periods. Term time only contract considered.
● The role will involve travel between schools and to the STEMworks office in Gloucester.
● Work will be primarily based in Gloucestershire & Worcestershire.
● All additional training provided.
● Full, UK driving licence required.
● Vehicle insurance covering ‘use of own transport for Business Purposes’ required.
● All business expenses reimbursed.
● Nest Pension Scheme.
● Start date: preferably January 2024 - but to be agreed.

Job description
The Workshop Presenter will be responsible for delivering a range of STEMworks branded workshops and assisting the STEMworks Team with their tailored STEM focused events as required by Primary schools and businesses.

Information and training will be given to the successful candidate, and they will be expected to read and comply with our company policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have the flexibility to choose their own working days to fit around other
commitments. Given the nature of the work we provide, the hours of work will vary from day to day. Additional days/hours may be available at busy times and during school holidays if desired. The role will predominantly be working with schools in the following areas: Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Cotswolds & South Worcestershire.

Due to the nature of our work, an Enhanced DBS check, a full education/work history and references are essential. as part of our Safer Recruitment Policy. All candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
