The Opportunity
We’re building a Food & Beverage team with the energy and ambition to take our Restaurant and Bar & Brasserie to the next level, and we’d love you to be part of it.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and guest-focused Food & Beverage Assistants who take pride in great hospitality and want to work alongside the wider team to raise our service standards and create memorable experiences for every guest.

The Role
Working in either our Restaurant or Bar & Brasserie, you’ll play an important part in delivering warm, professional and attentive service.
You’ll work closely with colleagues and managers to continually improve what we do, bringing ideas, energy and high standards to every service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering warm, friendly and attentive service throughout the guest experience
• Preparing the Restaurant, Bar or Brasserie ready for service
• Taking orders and serving food and drinks confidently and professionally
• Developing a strong knowledge of our menus, dishes, drinks and products so you can make great recommendations
• Anticipating guests’ needs and responding to individual requests
• Ensuring tables and service areas are presented and maintained to a high standard
• Identifying appropriate opportunities to recommend and upsell food and drinks
• Working together as a team to deliver smooth and efficient service
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety
• Following licensing, cash handling, security, Health & Safety and hotel procedures
• Taking part in training and sharing ideas to improve our service and guest experience

As hospitality is a seven-day operation, you’ll work a variety of shifts, including weekends, based on 37.5 hours per week.

You’ll be someone who:

• Is friendly, confident and enjoys engaging with guests
• Enjoys being part of a team and supporting colleagues
• Takes pride in the details and maintaining high standards
• Is reliable, organised and able to remain calm during busy services
• Is keen to learn, develop and build their Food & Beverage knowledge
• Is comfortable making recommendations and talking to guests about our food and drink
• Wants to contribute ideas and be part of a team that is continually improving

Previous Food & Beverage or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but attitude, personality and a willingness to learn are just as important to us.
