Grade/Pay Scale: Actual salary: £22,268 - £27,412 Based on: £29,540 - £36,363 FTE (Pay award pending)
Contract: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm (includes 30 mins unpaid break each day)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cheltenham Bournside School as a Cover Supervisor. We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic person to supervise classes during the short-term absence of subject teachers. Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher and working closely with the Subject Teachers and Head of Departments, the successful candidate will be taking responsibility for the learning, behaviour and progress of classes during the absence of the subject teacher.

Qualifications:
Essential
- English & Maths at GCSE or Equivalent
- Post 16 Education
Desirable
- A higher level professional qualification
- Degree Qualified
Experience:
Essential
- Previous experience working in a school supporting students in small students in small groups and in the classroom
- General understanding of national curriculum and other basic learning programmes/techniques
- Working knowledge ofnational curriculum andother relevant learningprogrammes
