As an UPPA, you will play a vital role in supporting our Year Leaders to create a positive and inclusive culture for students in Years 7–11. You will be the first point of contact for students and parents/carers, helping to identify and overcome barriers to learning, such as attendance, safeguarding, medical or behavioural concerns.

The successful applicant will have:
Essential:
• Understanding of safeguarding and pastoral support needs
• Experience working with young people
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths
• Excellent organisational and IT skills (Microsoft Office)

Desirable:
• Experience in an educational or youth setting
• First Aid at Work qualification (or willingness to train)

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday: 8.00am – 4.00pm, Friday: 8.00am – 3.30pm.
Includes a 20-minute paid break and 30-minute unpaid lunch. Working term time plus inset days.

Salary: Grade G Point 8 - 20, actual per annum £22,306 - £27,108 pro rata, £25,992 - £31,586 (full-time equivalent) per annum pro rata.
