Attendance Improvement Support Worker (Pastoral)

Gloucester

Working under the Attendance Improvement Lead, we are seeking to recruit an Attendance Improvement Support Worker, who will be responsible for implementing strategies to improvethe attendance of identified students. You will be able to maintain good levels of school attendance for students who are persistently absent.  You will be able to assess problems and provide solutions by working closely with students and their families, often in their own home, and improve the links between the school and the home.  Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.  You will need to be proactive, confident and have a resilient attitude. As the position requires visits to students’ homes, you will also need a full clean driving licence.
