Finance & HR Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Stroud

Anticipated start date August 2025 but negotiable.


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join our amazing charity and highly-committed team, dedicated to supporting young people.
We are looking to recruit a Finance and HR Assistant to support the Operations Director with the day-to-day administration of The Door’s finances, human resources and facilities.
This includes cash and invoice administration, maintaining financial records, management of staff records, the administration of staff recruitment and induction, and monitoring of the office facilities.

The Door is a Christian youth charity, established in 1991 in Stroud, Gloucestershire for the benefit of all young people aged 11 to 25 and their families. It’s a place where every young person and their parents can feel safe, happy and valued, with the best possible opportunity to reach their potential.

If you’re numerate, well-organised and trustworthy, with a good understanding of Excel and financial administration practices, able to work on your own initiative and also a good team player, this could be the role for you. Experience of Quickbooks Online, online HR systems and Salesforce would be an advantage.

Salary: £13.21 - £14.36 per hour (£25,411 - £27,631 p.a. pro rata)

Hours Per Week: 22.5 hours per week until 1 June 2026.
