School Meals Supervisory Assistant job summary

Based at our Sheridan Road site, BS7 0PU

7.5 hours per week - Mon-Friday 12-1.30pm (1.5h/day)

Bristol grade 3 - £12.65/hr

Elmfield School for Deaf Children would like to appoint a committed, happy and energetic person to join our team of SMSAs, working to oversee the children during their lunch hour. The ability to use British Sign Language is preferred, or a commitment to learn.

Duties will involve supervising and helping children with their lunch, and then supervise play outside in the playground, or classroom if it is raining. We like our SMSA’s to interact and lead play with children at lunchtimes. You must have the ability to work closely and effectively within a strong and friendly team and be committed to the wellbeing of our children.
