About the Role
- The successful candidate will provide sports science and nutrition services to the sports academy programmes within Hartpury. Working as part of an inter-disciplinary support services team, and led by the head coaches for each sport, you will provide technical expertise to the development of elite athletes, supporting them to fulfil their potential.
- The successful candidate will educate student athletes and staff, so they understand the principles of food and hydration in relation to fuelling an elite athlete.
- Provide mentoring, regular feedback and professional development opportunities to placement students on the university MSc programme.
About You
- You will hold a postgraduate degree in sports science or nutrition.
- You will be SENr Graduate Accredited and willing to work towards Practitioner Accreditation.
- You will have experience of working with performance athletes.
- You will have (or be aiming towards) UKAD Advisor status.
- You will be (or aiming to be) ISAK Level 1 accredited.
