Bank Nursery Assistant, Band 2

Job summary

We have the exciting opportunity for a Unqualified BANK Nursery Assistant to join our team at Little Oaks Nursery (GRH) and/or Little Apples Nursery (CGH). We are looking for a dedicated enthusiastic person to work within our nursery working with children aged 0-5 years

The nursery opens from 07:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday (closed bank holidays)

You should be the kind of person who can create a stimulating and fun environment with excellent communication skills both verbal and nonverbal at all levels, with a passion for 'In the Moment planning'.

The Trust have two busy workplace nurseries based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital.

Hours: Bank Hours subject to demand and needs

Base: Little Oaks Nursery, GRH or Little Apples CGH

Salary: Band 2

Main duties of the job

The role includes meeting the diverse needs of children aged 3 months - 5 years, managing their time effectively in helping with observations and development records. Supporting the Nursery Nurse in the needs of our parents and guardians acting professionally, compassionately and consistently in day to day and sensitive situations.
