Your Role in Building Brighter Futures 

St John's CofE Primary School in Keynsham is a caring and inclusive school rooted in Christian values. It promotes respect, kindness, and responsibility, offering a safe and stimulating setting where children grow academically and personally. 

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team at St Johns Primary School in Keynsham, Bristol. This is a permanent, term-time role,  You will be joining a passionate staff team committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners. 

This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children, is flexible, and has experience in classroom support. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing, ensuring that all children are supported to reach their full potential.

Has a variety of communication skills to respond to the needs of children 

Shows empathy and understanding of individual learning abilities 

Has knowledge and experience of working with children with communication and interaction difficulties 

Is confident in supporting the KS1 and KS2 curriculum 

Can build strong, respectful relationships with children and adults 

Has patience and a good sense of humour 

Is committed to going the extra mile for the children in their care
