Are you passionate about inclusive education and making a difference in the lives of children with SEND? We are seeking a dedicated Assistant SENDCo and Resource Base Lead to join our team and help shape the provision for pupils with autism and speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) in our specialist resource base.

Our warm and nurturing setting supports up to 24 pupils across three classes, providing a structured yet flexible learning environment tailored to individual needs. We are committed to fostering communication and interaction skills, empowering our pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

At the heart of our resource base is a strong, collaborative team—more than colleagues, we are a family unit. We value teamwork, creativity, and shared expertise, ensuring that both staff and pupils feel supported every step of the way. As part of our commitment to professional growth, we offer supported training, coaching, and opportunities to develop your expertise, helping you grow as a leader in inclusive education.

Our resource base is also a model of inclusion within the whole school, working closely with staff to promote best practices and ensure that every pupil benefits from an inclusive and understanding environment. We take pride in our strong relationships with parents and carers, working in close partnership to support each child’s journey. Beyond the classroom, we are deeply involved in our community, fostering connections that create a network of support for our pupils and their families.

If you’re ready to be part of a caring, dedicated, and forward-thinking team, where your leadership will help shape the future of SEND provision, we’d love to hear from you!
