Quality Inspector

Location: Gloucestershire

Contract: Permanent and Contract

I am currently recruiting for this specific skillset across many different clients in the Gloucestershire area.
Omega Resource Group is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Oil & Gas, Construction and Manufacturing sectors.

Candidates that are currently working as a quality engineer, quality inspector, quality technician, assembler or machinist, may have the relevant skills for roles we are actively recruiting for.

Role Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector:

* Manage the calibration processes for measuring and test equipment.
* Ensure compliance with AS9100 or ISO9001 and customer-specific quality requirements.
* Inspect components using micrometres, callipers, gauges
* Using CMMs such as PC-DMIS or Aberlink to complete quality inspections.

Skillsets we are looking for:

* Proven experience in calibration and quality inspection within the aerospace or high-spec manufacturing industry.
* Expertise in visual inspections.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues in a fast-paced environment.
* Formal training in calibration and inspection techniques.
* Certification in AS9100 / ISO 9001 auditing (desirable)
* Proficiency in using quality inspection software and ERP/MRP systems.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
* Ability to operate or programme CMMs.
