Ellenborough Park is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Manager to lead our vibrant Bar & Brasserie team within our luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds.
The Role
This role is contracted at 40 hours per week, although additional hours are available. Shifts will cover a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend services, therefore flexibility is essential.
As Bar Manager, you will lead the performance and day-to-day operation of the hotel’s busy bar and brasserie, ensuring exceptional standards of service, presentation and guest care are consistently delivered.
You will be responsible for developing and motivating the team, creating a positive culture and driving memorable guest experiences within a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, identity and performance of the Bar & Brasserie
Deliver warm, professional and intuitive service to guests
Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel’s busy bar area
Recruit, train, coach and develop the bar team
Create a positive, collaborative and supportive team culture
Ensure the Bar & Brasserie are prepared to the highest standards ahead of service
Provide expert knowledge of wines, cocktails and beverages to enhance the guest experience
Support the wider Food & Beverage Management team in the smooth operation of all outlets
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and service at all times
About You
We are looking for a confident and motivated hospitality professional with a genuine passion for luxury service, cocktails and guest experience.
You will ideally have:
A minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or management experience within a quality bar, restaurant or 4/5-star hotel environment
Strong knowledge of wines, cocktails and premium beverage service
Excellent leadership and team development skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Impeccable attention to detail
The ability to work calmly under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
A welcoming and professional approach to guest service
Excellent spoken English and high presentation standards
A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences

Salary: Upto £28,000.00 per annum
